I’m Meaghan
I am a mother of two beautiful kids, Lincoln and Ruby, and a Registered Massage Therapist. I’ve been in the bodywork field since 2013. Apart from spending time with my kids, I love everything babies.
I’m also the founder of MyBaby Craniosacral where I practice Infant Craniosacral Therapy on infants, children and parents.
In this ever-growing modality of Infant Craniosacral, my practice has grown to the point where it’s nearly impossible to keep up with demand. Which can only mean… It’s time for more Infant Craniosacral Therapists. That is why I founded Beames CST Training Centre.
The world needs more professionals offering Craniosacral Therapy.
I’ve always been obsessed with babies, but it was my first pregnancy when my fascination with birth began. I read all of the books and thought I was prepared for a new baby, but my son had a hard time breastfeeding. I spent weeks gritting my teeth through a feed.
If only I had learned that Craniosacral therapy could be used for breastfeeding sooner – our early experience could have been much different.
I was inspired
I was inspired by my first birth to become a doula. I took the Maternal Support Practitioner training through BeboMia, but the On-Call life really isn’t for me. I wanted to be self-employed, but I wanted a set schedule.
I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life, and while listening to a podcast one day the host was interviewing a craniosacral therapist for babies. I had the biggest AH HA! moment of my life! I knew I would become a Craniosacral Therapist, but it took almost 2 years before I could actualize my dream.
After I had my second baby in 2018, I traveled to Portland, Oregon (with said baby) to study with Carol Gray, LMT, CST, RPYT. She has beautifully curated a program specifically for Infant and Pregnancy / Postpartum Craniosacral Therapy.
I am continuously updating my knowledge. I’ve done so through the Kindred Academy, Upledger Institute, Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training, and the Tongue-Tie Symposium put on by Gold Learning online.
In my spare time, I enjoy… just kidding. I have 2 kids 5 and under, and 2 thriving businesses. I spend most of my time doing laundry and thinking about craniosacral! But after the kids are asleep, I love going rock-climbing at the gym.
